First Grade Lessons
Severe Weather
In this lesson, first graders investigate various types of severe weather and design a severe weather plan. They must consider where to seek shelter, what items they may need during severe weather, and what types of behavior would be appropriate during specific types of severe weather.

Question Lesson One: Hooray for Questions!
In this introductory inquiry lesson, students answer the question: "How do we find out about things we want to know?" This lesson covers the following Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations:
