Kindergarten Lessons

What Am I?

In this unit, kindergarten students read the book, What Am I?  and create a Pixie movie similar to the pages in the book.  Students must first ask questions about an animal of their interest, then investigate answers to their questions.  Using teacher-made Pixie templates, students use page 1 to give several clues about their animal and a sneak peek at their animal drawing.  On page 2, students reveal their animal drawing and name.
