Animal Adaptations

In this unit, students will be using Frames animation software to design an animal habitat for a specific animal.  This design will be based on the natural environment in which the animal resides, the specific traits the animal possesses, and the special adaptations (both physical and behavioral) the animal has developed over time.  Students will be attempting to convince the zoo design planners this new habitat is the best for the animal’s survival and health.  Students will be attempting to answer the following essential question:  How do animals survive in their environment?
